Are conservatives like Sidhom then also in favour of voting "Yes" in the referendum? Just a few days ago, on Wednesday, Nagib Sawiris said in a meeting in Maraashli Church that all Copts should vote against the referendum if the transition process is not changed: first a totally new constitution, then presidential elections, and finally parliamentary elections. Too early elections would only benfit two groups: the old regime, and the Muslim Brotherhood. Not in the interest of the Copts!
