According to this interesting portrait of Nadia Henry, she was politicised during the 25 January revolution and joined the Free Egyptians. She was active in the resistance against the Ikhwan and was elected into the post-2013 parliament on the Loyalist "Fi hubb Masr" list. However, due to her oppositional comportment in parliament, she was excluded from the Loyalist bloc and the Free Egyptians Party and joined the 25/30 bloc.
